no mixer, therefore we stir it mix manually.. in my case, i use a fork and Jay's metal bowl XD
not too bad for improvisation eh?
been in the mood for baking these days, though i don't know why.. we figured out the chocolate chip recipe, we also baked Jay's 21st birthday cake *grin*
due to the absence of a cake tin, we used a rice cooker to bake instead *silence*
I AM SERIOUS!! LOOK:
somehow, even though we were just testing things out, the guys liked it.. or maybe cos it's mostly chocolate.. *chuckles* good thing we have free, willing 'lab rats' around..
since i was so free today, i thought i'd occupy myself with something useful. ever since the chocolate chip cookies, i want to try something else.
something that i really love was mum's cornflake cookies =) [they were also the reason behind my annual CNY sore throat, flu and cough] but.. i don't have the recipe with me TT.TT
this is going to sound crazy.. but i was comparing recipes online looking for the perfect one.. *lolx* after a little checking, these are my results:
^^ so far, my 'lab rats' have already told me that this mix is better than the chocolate chip one. it is less sweet, but i didn't stir it evenly, and it is not as burnt..
so, confessions:
this mix is very very crumbly! it was a little difficult to shape [now i know why mum uses paper casings]
and i was a lazier today.. i didn't mix it as long as i did the other, due to the thickness. *sneaky grin* so now you know why it turned out the way it did lah..
here's the recipe if you guys wanna try =)) some advice though, do take time to note the advice given below in the comments section.. it can sometimes be very helpful *wink*
what cookie do you think i should bake next? ^^
p.s. Spring is here! i felt overly warm under my blankets the past couple of nights.. and it wasn't even 0 degrees.. *uh oh* =.="
