happened on the 7th of March..
with one of my RSMU senior who handled the foreign delegates with us.
it was really a lot of fun, more fun i suspect if i got to sit with my crazy pack at the back of the hall.. when you sit a couple of rows away from the VVIPs, you can hardly jump around much, can you? =( but then again, the sparkling clear view compensated for that little lapse. plus, i had an interesting [if a little talkative] Russian in the seat next to me *swt*
now why would i be sitting there? cos our foreign delegates from Volgograd, Nizhny and Kursk are all seated there. and cos elise was shifted to another seat to make way for this guy was insisted on sitting at the steps of the hall for the want of a better view.
i didn't camwhore enough, but here's some photos:
[for more, check out elise's pix]
Rachel from Volgograd, like me, first year medic.. she's very sweet, right? ^^
with super senior, YewChing from Kursk. she's going to graduate soon!
these people travelled more or less 15 hours just to attend this concert in Moscow *jaw drops* you got that right.. imagine being crammed into a van for that amount of time, feeling green around the gills yet? hah, i really salute them for their support!
you guys rock ya know?
and not to forget, a standing ovation to the people who organised this fab successful event [a report was published in theStar! ^^]
nobody can help everybody, but everybody can help somebody
