finishing Boys Over Flowers.. *sigh*

maybe this what you call the Modern Fairytale..
rich guy meets poor girl and the meet, over come some problems together (usually some bitchy parents intent on making another power marriage to benefit the family business) and they live happily every after. or poor guy meets rich girl, teaches her something about life and the same thing happens.
like all the Fairytales we have ever heard.

this is the F4, the main guy cast for this drama.. err, i happen to prefer their looks later in the show compared to this one..

this latest obsession has even left my best friend frustrated and irritated with me. she thinks i am out of control.. lolx.
the lead character, JanDi.
JanDi's friend, GaEul. a hopeless romantic.
JunPyo's elder sister. i like her entrance to the story. beating the crap out of her younger brother. ahahaha.. one cool lady!

JaeKyung. the beautiful rich heiress who was supposed to marry JunPyo. she is also JanDi's friend, which puts her in a situation rather like JiHoo's. i love her coolness and fierce spirit. besides, she is the one lass who gave the Casanova and DonJuan from F4 a run for their money. lmao~ their so called excellent skills with women failed on her. ahahaha..

well, as we all do know, she gave up forcing JunPyo to marry her. and helped to unite JanDi and JunPyo. well, one part of it anyway. it is so saddd. ='( because she is so lovely..

my favourite pair for the drama is SoEul.. lolxx..
JanDi and JiHoo is too painful. though i must wonder why JanDi didn't pick him. she had a crush on him initially.. and the way he just knows her needs and thoughts, its like they are two pieces of a puzzle meant for each other.
soulmates.

anyway, the Casanova and the sweet romantic GaEul.. what a pair~

my listing of the F4 members.. i think i might have put this somewhere else before.. i just couldn't remember.. hahaha..

1st- SoYiJung, the Casanova / Potter.

melt factor= 9.5
his firm refusal to believe in the existence of soulmates is sometimes really frustrating for GaEul. but i like what he told her about creating the perfect strong unbreakable heart.
that was how i liked YiJung better than the others. strong and yet fragile? i like the way he taught GaEul.. ah, and his smile? his weaknesses makes him 'real'..

2nd-YoonJiHoo, the Musician

melt factor= 9.4
stoic disposition. but when he does smile, it sort of comes from inside him. its as if the smile radiates warmth that lights him up from within. ah, JiHoo seems to sleep in random places a lot too.. and the way he protects JanDi and does his best to ensure her happiness, it is heartbreaking to know that he will never be with her. *ouch*

actually, JiHoo is just this close to being my favourite F4.. all he needs is to maintain this shorter haircut. and maybe be less nice sometimes. cos like this is very likely to break any human's heart.. his unconditional love for JanDi is is sweet but also scary.. err, and his obsessive-JanDi-stalker act as well.. ahahaha

3rd- SongWooBin, the MobBoss/ Don Juan
melt factor= 8.5
it is said that WooBin and YiJung befriended each other when they aimed for the same girl in kindergarten.. *rolls eyes* rich chaebols. what do you expect? and they have been friends ever since. also called Prince Song.
i certainly am inclined to admit that this guy has this charisma that is undeniable. he takes care of ALL his friends and is the most level-headed one amongst the four. it is almost as if he could have taken on the world and still stand strong after the ordeal. i like this guy's style.. =) err, i like his dependable concern..

lastly, GuJoonPyo, the filthy rich heir.
melt factor= 7
don't get me wrong, it is not like he is ugly. he even looks decent in this picture here.. minus the curls, JunPyo would have been the best looking amongst them all. he has that prolific jawline and nose. total hot.. i just happen to find his curls irritating.
what i do like is how serious he can be sometimes.. and how funny is it when he mixes up his idioms and expressions..

can't say i really liked the ending. but it is how it is. i would have liked to know more about SoEul pair.. (err, hence my recent escapades searching for interesting fan fictions XD) and i felt kinda sad over JiHoo and JaeKyung's endings.

final touching blow for JiHoo: he offered to repeat Med school with JanDi.. *sigh* saccharine..

one thing is for sure. the Korean version is the best by far. Taiwan version is half-baked.. and i am not sure that the Japanese version even took flight at all..
that is of course, based on the casting of the characters. the Korean line-up is by far the most appealing ^ ^
