Sharon and Gan brought us cheesecake from the famous fab pastry shop in Spartiv! *delicious*
Gan was telling us the story of Joseph for this week's CG.
[i seriously felt like i went back to the times when my teacher used to tell me stories. this is seriously ancient as i took to reading fast enough]
after Samson and Delilah's story the week before last, and before Moses' story for the coming weekend. because he is usually kind enough to let us know beforehand the story, i took the liberty of asking Joseph [*laughs* one of the Volgograd seniors with ties here~ *teehehehe*] to provide some information.
classic example of 2 sides of a story: when Joseph brushed through it, that's all it is. a story which i am not even sure of the moral there. when Gan told us the story, it was a little more interactive.. and i can see the moral highlighted.
so yeah, that was the moral this week, forgive..
i arrived at the second part of my very twisted warped contradictory conclusion [and title] about love and hate from reading FB comments on Elise's wall *grin* [HATE=LOVE. one cannot exist without the other ∴tiring]
"paper roses, how real those roses seem to be; but they're only imitation.." -PaperRoses, Marie Osmond, '74
i don't like roses. can't help but feel how flimsy and fake they can be. *laughs* maybe that's called cynicism, but i'm being realistic^^ honest. i was told that this really old song [i linked it] portrays this plasticity of roses perfectly.
2KF was right! Thean's Kitchen really imitates the taste of Malaysian curry very well *happy* ah well, its no secret anyway, this is created from instant curry paste! *laughs* but no joking. great taste. i'll be adding this to my luggage list for next sem when i return~~
