..is not limited to just one shape. the snowflakes are gorgeous. despite their fragility, you will find them sticking to your clothes, gloves, hair, bag. (provided you don't touch them with your bare hands, it won't melt and you can see that there really are no two snowflakes totally alike!)
and hence now, my package is still waiting, and the slip is just clipped to my wall. (yes, a REAL wall.. it does exist in reality! XD)
the christmas tree at the entrance area of my hostel. they just set it up a couple of nights ago i think?
it was quite windy however, today. my phone camera of course, cannot take pictures of the snow falling. but it has been snowing for most of the day with a pretty strong wind. (particularly in the evening)
i went out in the morning to try get my parcel.. the post office is supposed to stay open till 6pm. but it wasn't open *shrug* so i will go and try again another day. it slip says that on weekdays, it opens till 8pm. i sure hope so!
i was standing on the porch area of the post office when i noticed how it is quieter than usual. and i got tempted to pull off my glove and take some pictures.

i got back and started cutting the onions which i was supposed to do since last night.
then when elise and chi got back from the productiy (they were out shopping for tonight's dinner), we rushed over to Fili.
walked around a bit looking for a seat in the food court. . . (meal time hours are always crazy when it comes to the seats!) eating out is not cheap here. and we usually end up eating fastfood like McDs and Texas Chicken (yeah, you don't have such thing in M'sia. but then, they don't have KFC here~)
but today. . .
you can kinda say that we got a little bored of Texas Chicken (that's what me and elise almost always eat) and the lines at McD is loooong.. so we walked around, and saw this buffet thing that we wanted to try but never did. we stood there. we watched these people take the food. we Calculated (yes.. here you have to if you want to spend within the budget) the prices.
it is cheap. by Moscow standards, it really is! even plus a drink:
it amounted less than we'd expect. the only trick in this restaurant is that you need to have good food stacking skills. *roflmao* cos you are given a plate of a certain size (according to how much you pay) and then, you just try to put as much as you can, or as much as want on this plate. XDDD we are so full today after lunch!!
we got back in time to start cooking dinner with Jay =) Christmas is definitely in the air~~~
look. . .
this is the park in front of my hostel. it has been this white for quite some time already (a fortnight or so?) and sometimes you can see people sliding down the icy slope or making snowmen (the kids)
yes, it snowed long enough for black ice to form on the roads and paths. you can't see it always, but you will usually slip on em. heck, i can slip 6 times in a day.. i didn't know that walking can be so tiring!! *sigh*

the platform that you can see is the one that i usually take, and i sometimes stand near the end of the platform (you can see that end in this pix).. i took this today when we went to the mall cos it required us to stand at the opposite platform =))) i wanted to do this a long time, but you know. . . procrastinator~~
how are you celebrating your christmas and new year?
