there's this very funny thing about us humans and gossips. see, we just love 'em.. i can clearly recall why my dear friend Yong-kun gets on so well with most people.. (esp us girls.. hehe^^'') all a testimony to how much he is into goss.. haha.. might as well have just called him our Gossip Broker.. (still dealing in it , eh Yong-kun?? no matter where..) made himself a popular figure everywhere.. course it doesn't hurt that he himself is a G addict... (taku.. mendou janai desuka??) hehe.. actually, i also like hearing alll the latest goss.. haha.. alright, the thing that i really wanted to introduce to you guys is this
this did not catch my eye when i saw it on the cover of the Star Mag(date).. but i sure made an interesting discovery later on.. by Norman Rockwell (he's an American artist.. he painted this in 1948), this doesn't look like a painting, huh? i thought it is art made up of photographs!! now, this is the interesting part.= this looks like an ordinary boring painting right? that's what i thought at the first glance.. but then, when i took a second (CLOSER) look, then only did it struck me what wit the artist had.. (hontouni subarashii.. omoshiroi!!) if you look closely, you will realise that each individual in the painting has a double.. so if you see 30
people, there's actually only 15 different people in it... notice that the first person in the painting is the lady in the topmost left corner. she is also the last person in the painting, in the right corner of the bottom row.. all these cleverly painted faces(i still find it hard to believe that they are ALL painted!! -_-"), they seem to be all linked in a chain. indeed, what other chain but one called gossip?? the irony and wit is truly captured.. i find it entertaining and amusing.. what do you guys think??
hehe.. still wanna pass that gossip around?? well, this painting indicates the price of spreading gossip.. it also warns that gossip runs around in the grapevine and surely could come back to the originator, completing the circle.. hahaha..
