abandoned

this bicycle fell over, but none of the patients waiting for their turn at the consultation table bothered to pick it up.

i don't remember exactly how long it lay like that on the roadside.

someone did pick up the bike at some point later.. i got too caught up with things to notice any further.

this is going to sound so retarded, but i thought it was just so sad. the bike wasn't new by normal standards, but even in a poor country, they regarded it as the dirt on the road when it doesn't belong to them. "Nature's red in tooth and claw"

i'm getting a little flummoxed now =(
