"Spirit should never grow old"
and i know with all my heart that you are the epitome of this. even at this day and age, you still walk around town so much, running the errands and buying necessary supplies on foot. just because you can still walk, you say.
you crack jokes and can spot a pun a mile away, your wit beyond ours. defying logic that we should be of more active gray matter. *swt* and your sarcasm even seemed to increase with age!
you held me hand when i was a kid, spoiling me with sweets and toys, taking me out for walks. then as i grew older, you worried about me, [yea yea, i am of lesser RAM *rofl*] took time to lecture me, making it your responsibility to impart your wisdom.
i wish you a long and peaceful life. . . and i hope that you will always be able to carry that beautiful smile and infectious laugh for the rest of your life.
i am only sorry that i cannot be there to celebrate with you as planned.
nor will i be able to partake in our yearly Chinese New Year feast that grandma so loves to cook.
please take care of yourselves at home. don't overtax your energy, even though you think you can. =)) and check that grandad is being good..
can't wait till june to see you, cos i really really do miss you all a lot!! ♥ ♥
