like a few days back, Sheryn lent me her set so that i can finally experience this craze for myself. (i am still slower than she is.. took me two days.. lolx) what can i say?
YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL ROCKS!!

the storyline is the sort made up of moonshine and dreams. but You're Beautiful scores in the humour section much more higher than Boys Over Flowers. so yea, there is a higher chance of me sharing this with a guy (if he wants that is..) than Boys Over Flowers.
Min Nyu is raised in a convent and wants to be a Sister. but when her twin brother Mi Nam is stuck in US on the verge of signing his big breakthrough record deal with huge boyband A.N.JELL, she is forced to stand in for him.
Story-line: 7/10 (BOF gets 9/10)
too bad.. there were holes here and there.. but then there were 3 Versions of BOF, so its no surprise they got the storyline right.. i mean for heavens sake, its the 3rd time..
Humour-meter: 8/10 (i give BOF 5/10)
this is so much funnier! esp the Supermarket scene.. and throw in Jeremy, you are set.
Cast: 7/10 (BOF gets 9/10)
sorry, but the cast for BOF still looks better overall speaking.. they are the best!
Soundtrack: 7/10 (BOF: 7/10)
though this is an idol-group based drama, there are less songs compared to BOF. but the quality of the songs make up for it. they are Really good. on the other hand, the length of the drama could be the reason why there are less songs. You're Beautiful is considered short in terms of Korean dramas who usually wind up around 20++ episodes.

check em out~~ somehow, i find it hard to believe she is a guy. doesn't look like one, neither acts like one.
she is actually very beautiful when she dresses as a girl. plus, her awfully straight personality suits her innocent image. though i find her a little thick at times..
like for example, when it comes to the interrelation of the characters.
this should make it easy to understand.

RANKING
1. Kang Shin Woo a.k.a Forever Considerate Guy

Melt factor: 9/10
no matter, ShinWoo still ranks 1st. lolx. if you compare all three of them, ShinWoo is exactly the type that will melt a girl's heart. (he's warm?) bet you that most girls who sees all the scenes with him in it puddles at some point.
it is sort of annoying for me to watch him try again and again. don't get me wrong, the way he tries so hard to support and protect Min Nyu is sweet. but isn't sort of sad (and a little predictable) that everytime, something will prevent him from confessing.

overall, ShinWoo seems to be a mix of JiHoo's personality and some aspects of WooBin-sunbae's looks. he looks really manly from all the three who looks so 'pretty'. no offense, ppl. i like his voice.
Melt factor: 9 /10
same factor, but Jeremy comes 2nd. some girls find Jeremy disgusting because of how he eats the orange. (like a little kid with no table manners)
for me, Jeremy would have come first.
Lee HongKi is a pretty good actor^^
i have several favourite scenes of him. like the time when she finished her first recording. and he took her to hang out. and the time he confessed.
Jeremy is definitely like sunshine. he is cute, has a good sense of humour.
but unfortunately pretty blur and clueless. he is the last to realise she is a girl. but he is the first to confess, and he did it naturally even though it was pretty sad.
what matters is, Jeremy is considerate and caring in his own way.
and he always always smiles.
cold. and pretty much an idiot. for a smart and talented guy, he sure is slow to know that he likes Min Nyu. *swt* he prevented ShinWoo from confessing so many times!!! (sometimes unintentionally) without knowing why he did it.. *super swt*
Jang Gun Seuk is an excellent actor. and hot as well. just not here. i watched him in Beethoven Virus before. i preferred him there. i mean, what with that 'one-eyed-Jack' hairstyle?? horrible.
he POUTS. no, i mean it. watch him in the episodes. he really pouts, like a girl. a LOT of times.

the best scene with all of them in is at the supermarket. Jeremy was total adorable-ness. and ShinWoo's disgusted expression was priceless. he HAS another expression apart from serious and serious!!
Shin Woo-ah VS JiHoo-ah
this is very very hard.. because, they have the same Personality. both are good examples of unrequited love. lolx. look at the pix, identical Stoic expressions.
i don't really understand this, but i find ShinWoo's considerate-ness irritating. JiHoo wasn't any better, but it annoyed me less then. why would it be so? *geez* but if you are talking about considerate-ness, JiHoo's confession was better than ShinWoo's. (we are talking about the one that the girl in question heard. not the one where she fell asleep or etc.)
which considerate guy who knows the girl doesn't like him just grab her and hug her like that?
. . . . . .
i give up.
