'Death' Concert on the 26th

Joyce has asked me to go Sunway with her when she meets this 'aunty' in the morning.. i was planning to FFK [yeah, so bad.. i know..] but ended up going anyway.. *urgh* the aunty is into direct sales selling this health food supplement.. um, all i can think of as she is doing her sales pitch is, "yuck.." too bad lar.. cos she said that i looked really unhealthy and awful.. [*thinking* i do?? hahahaha] and the stuff is nothing too expensive lar.. haiyo.. just like 2k something for around 8 bottles of different supplements to be taken twice a day mar.. [now you know why i feel ill after listening to her.. *shakes head*] then after shaking her off, we ran off else where.. and.. ended up in RedBox.. lol~

at the student price rate of around 8 per person for 4hours.. pretty okay i thought.. but of course got extra things to pay for, but still.. that is definitely less than the rate i got in for the last time..

we got home to do Subha's nails before the concert.. lol~ Joyce's friend from her SAM invited her to this concert where he is a drummer for.. it is more of a theater and concert with the central theme of death.. [i know, gloomy huh?] this is us in front of the hall..

the first thing that i saw when we entered the eating area below [the concert comes with free food provided] the first thing that caught my eye is the curtain made of cards.. look.. which i took a picture with.. even as i sit down, i can't help thinking what the cards were supposed to symbolise.. life's uncertainty? life as a game of chances?
Joyce and Subha in the eating area..

the ticket is really Beautiful!!! i wish i could have kept mine intact.. but the has to tear it up.. *sigh* this is the back and the front of the ticket.. with the entrance stub already torn off.. it looks like a card initially.. the Ace.. now what would that mean?

the concert is held upstairs in the hall.. you go up the stairs, and then you see this huge cardboard ace hanging outside the wall of the hall.. then you walk in through those doors.. this is taken after the concert.. we walked up in the dark under some purple light..

owh, and this is the program.. under that purple light, it glows!! and looks yellow, neon, whatever.. but it is actually green.. there were three short plays with death and Christianity as the theme of it.. and the band session before hand.. all of the audience and performers who wore white clothes glowed under that purple light and looked like wandering spirits.. honestly! cos only the white clothes glowed..

camwhoring outside the hall after the concert.. we were waiting for Joyce's friend to take us home after that.. which he did.. [thanks a lot Jeff!]

with the other section of the card curtain.. i really like this curtain idea!

this is the guy who played Jesus in the play.. and everyone laughed when he came out every time in each of the plays.. he is TALL!!! just look at the comparison.. but of course, bear in mind that i am, uh, quite vertically challenged to tell the truth.. but still.. believe me, talking to him requires some work.. cos you have to look up to hold the conversation.. haha..

i was too busy enjoying the performance to take any pictures, but it is a really great one and i enjoyed myself.. ^^ they actors and actresses are Good~ the screams gives you goose flesh, i swear.. but the band was my favourite part.. maybe cos i was sorta playing a guessing game with the storyline of the theater section.. and i mostly guessed right on the storylines.. of course, the program that they gave helped a lot.. haha.. so thanks to Joyce and her friend for inviting me..
