somethings look plain on first sight.. that does not apply to Andrew's house.. but, the same cannot be said for his piano [which happens to be the second thing that caught my attention as we walked in.. the first being his adorable nephew..]
it looks like any ordinary upright, correct?? well, it is just not your run-of-the-mill upright.. its a Petrouf.. yes, kid you not.. excellent touch and the keys are just the way i like them to be.. the sound is fabulous for an upright.. but that might be due to the way it is positioned as well as the worksmanship of it.. and Andrew was like, 'i thought this is a lousy brand of piano.. isn't yamaha better?' swt.. you know what they say, the unwitting owner.. *sigh*
i started camwhoring after a while.. this is taken in the living room downstairs [yes, there are two^^], near the coffee table.. it is square and looks like the kind of stuff 2ndUncle would have loved to collect.. lol~
did i mention that the structure of the house allowed for a lot of space? and the staircase itself is lovely.. until you have to run up and down it all the time.. its the kind that spirals down and its lined with some kind of marble tile.. kinda like the ones grams got, just not that chilly.. they were all supposed to be studying Phy actually, but once everyone got in to house, there was more running up and down the stairs and completing circuits of the whole house.. the living room upstairs is VAST!!
here's a pix of everyone, gathered around the piano watching Andrew play.. but somehow, there's only half of Jie inside.. i wonder why?? *evil grin*and you can't see Chelle, cos Kevin's blocking her.. *sigh* never mind..
look! this is Teacher Chelle supervising Andrew's 'performance'.. teacher, how did he do arh??
she looks strict, doesn't she?? probably that's why Andrew played well, just in case Chelle decides to give him the third degree.. hahahaha..by the way guys, i thought you people are supposed to be studying PHY??? whatever happened to that??
Ryn's playing is GOOD! she has like some songs commited to memory and her touch is nice.. i like to hear her play!! [hope i get a chance to hear it again^^ please please please?? *shiny eyes*]
someone got hungry after a while.. was it due to all that running up and down?? so, Chelle, Andrew and Kevin decided that it is safer to cook for the hungry person than to allow her into the kitchen.. they started cooking. . . and the time starts ticking. . . i must say, the kitchen has a commercial feel to it.. so many utensils and things!!! wow~~
uhh.. its ok if you can't.. the lable has his name on it.. but.. it is from some KLINIK PAKAR KANAK-KANAK.. looks like Andrew is still stuck in the kiddy sections.. *lmao* hmm, they must have mistaken him for one since he is so skinny and petite.. lol~ for a guy..
when we are done raiding his room, i looked around for his adorable nephew.. Zhong was in his room playing.. and i decided to join him^^ [yes yes, call me childish.. but the kitchen was full.. and Ryn was practising.. so, i decided to see if i get the chance to babysit.. i had no idea that its going to be terrible..]
isn't he adorable?? and i ♥ his teddybear.. he has a couple lying around according to Andrew.. there's this picture of him stuck on the fridge, its taken a while ago with his mum, and another with his grandparents.. he pointed to himself in the picture, and said to me. . 'HANDSOME!' oh my god. . . that is soooo adorably cute!!!!!
Andrew's trying to play with him here.. he's kinda shy at first and won't even look at me.. but when i came to his playroom, he gave me his toys, and started talking to me in his baby talk.. ^^ he has a lot of Lego pieces lying all around and we tried sorting through with them.. when they were done cooking, they all came in as well.. uh, Jie tells me he has NEVER been in a kitchen before.. and.. i asked him if he knows how to play with little kids.. he just shrugged.. =.=''
know why is Chelle smiling so happily?? *groan* cos. . . *long pause* cos Zhong suddenly takes it in his head to call me 'mummy'.. good God!!!! we were all so surprised at first.. then, Andrew looked at me and back at him asking him to say it again.. Chelle couldn't stop laughing for the rest of the day.. *grr* he called her Jie Jie.. so they concluded that i look old.. *sob sob* this is awful!!! i don't wanna be someone's mum!!!! why on earth did he call me that.. i don't wanna know.. but still, he wouldn't let me pick him up.. and Andrew says that he doesn't like me.. *grrr* but he loves Andrew to do that.. Chelle tells me that he ran to Andrew holding out his hands asking for 'pao pao'.. lol~ that is soo sweet! 
since they finished cooking, Ryn ate her share together with Kevin in the dining area 
Ryn was pretty bored.. she didn't attack the kitchen, cos she says there's no point in messing it up if the cleaning crew does not consist of Andrew and Andrew alone.. *shrug* so, she got creative.. took my book away just so that i am equally bored.. [yeah, i raided the 'library' as well, when i was at it] so, i moved over to the computer terminal.. while he was out sending Chelle.. she finally settled to watch the guys play xBox in the room.. that's the three of them up there while i took the other bed to read my book in.. when he came back, we flipped through his wallet.. hehe.. something that we did sometime ago..

since they finished cooking, Ryn ate her share together with Kevin in the dining area they finally got to studying after that.. so i ended up dramaing upstairs.. Zhong came up to have his shower, which was when he let me pick him up!!! i was so surprised when he walked over after his shower and hugged me when i talked to him.. then, i asked him does he want me to take him downstairs, go see what they are all up to.. he said yes and held out his arms to me.. i was SO HAPPY!!!! i picked him and and took him downstairs.. [hmm, i was a little nervous.. cos he feels so fragile in my arms! holding him makes me feel that i have to be very careful, his skin's soft and smooth~ *sparkly eyes*) when i walked down those stairs, i can hear someone saying something that sounds a lot like, "GG.. he really let her hold him.." hahaha.. i heard that ok??
