of GPS and butchering..

aih.. okay, i am back in SS15.. i got back like yesterday mid-morning and sat around.. doing nothing.. waiting for CC to get back.. see, we are not sure of the way to go to HK where we are supposed to do our hospital attchmt.. i only found out that Elise knows the way.. (and she didn't even bother to say so in the begining.. urgh.. smart..) anyway, CC bought this GPS, and we thought better to try it out before the actual day itself.. (who wants to get lost and stuck in KL where jams are the norm?? duh..)

i can tell you, the GPS is helpful.. it really is.. but it is slow.. once, we turned into the junction, then only it starts issuing the order, "enter left ramp" (which is the junction lar..).. Shan's staying with me, so we went for the trial run together with CC.. we were all like, "um.. okay..." then, CC tells us that it works best at 70kmh.. uhuh.. so, when you speed exceeds, you will hear,"recalculating.. recalculating.." CC even told us, when he was coming back from D, he speeded, and it said," speed limit exceeded" i must way, woow.. smart.. so, Shan and CC took turns to tell the thing to shut up.. hahaha

anyway, we all got there safely today, quite early too(get to see Chelle again^^ yipee~), thanks to Kev who woke everyone up early.. he SMSed me, then called Elise.. (she says he threatened her a couple of times.. anyone who doesn't know what he said.. guess.. it is VERY predictable.. kakakaka) everyone was like in formal.. i swear, the night before, Elise was like shooting me with SMSes.. "what to wear?""no top lar""heels arh?".. aih~ this is how me and Shan looked like when we saw her messages>> (=.=)" i mean hey, seriously.. we were even planning to go in jeans.. (it is not allowed, BTW.. Shan got the message today.. hehe)

so, anyone wondering what we did today in HK?? hehe..

let's see, we went to the office, got told off by the lady there for something to do with the dresscode.. (some of us.. not all..) need to wear formal.. (okay okay, message taken.. will do that tomorrow.. urgh~) some hospital rule apparantly.. but you know what, we saw this doctor today.. okay, he was dressed really very formally.. tie, shirt neatly starched, crisply ironed trousers and so, we took in his appearance in awe.. wow, even carrying this lappy bag over his shoulder.. then.. we noticed his shoes.. wanna know what he wore?? slippers.. those normal common slippers.. we were all laughing like hell about it.. =.="

then, the lady gave us this letter and we are to find our way to the forensic dept.. okay.. we walked down the road, then realised we don't know the way.. we stopped by the psychiatric dept and ask.. (clever huh?? don't know your way?? ask the nutty people!! they will know!) they directed us, walk down the road, then turn to your right.. then go right on.. the dept has a big steel container nearby.. *nods head..* continue walking.. (try this in high heels and formal wear in a mild drizzle.. you won't be laughing, i promise you.. *grr*) then, we meet this nurse, and CC says, "let's ask her, just to be sure.." so we do that.. and you know what she said.. "oh, dekat jer.. you pergi depan lagi.. dekat jer.. lepas jambatan tu, sedikit.." we trusted her. so we walked.. then, BEFORE the jambatan, we saw this office with the sign, "Jabatan Forensik".. we were like, owh, this is the back door.. she said lepas jambatan right?? so, we walk right past.. where is the front door????

duh~ we walked right past the front door.. that was the one that we thought was the back door.. smart huh?? very good directions anyway.. we concluded that the only reason must be that she is travelling in the opposite direction to us.. so, if we are sebelum jambatan, then, she must be selepas jambatan lar.. get it?? kakakaka.. (note: next time, ask ppl giving directions, from which direction are they giving the directions.. lol~)

so, we got there.. (finally..) they gave us a tour of the facilities, the things that they use, and
they called us in to watch them work

we ended the day with going to Sunway, cos i needed a formal top, and CC wants shoes that won't kill him.. yeah, i need heels that don't murder me too*sob sob* (guilty, i am very bad with heels.. and flats, ditto..) lol~ our attchment to the forensics end after another two days, and the hospital attchment ends on friday.. so, i will be free on friday evening.. everyone will be going back i think, or will be back by then.. still, any ideas on curbing the boredom?? (apart from studying.. ) planning for movie nights with Shan.. hehe.. we both have taken an interest in a few movies lor..
