Wings~

i was alone staring at the sky
rain veiled me and evening misted over me
but wings appeared..
the rain shimmered and evening glowed.

you taught me to fly
with these wings i can soar
touch the sky
reach for my dreams

one day, a feather fell
i didn't realise it
one by one..
possesed by the wind
until none left
and..
it is time to let go

i am back..
veiled by a midnight mist now..
and the icy winds swirled
touching me gently
i know i am home..
