Orientation..

today's my orientation.. err, it was really overwhelming.. like masses of people.. who act, move and talk like real fast.. (hmm, now i know where yong trained.. got to be this freaky part of the earth) it was kinda tiring too..

now, for orientation, there's one thing that will definitely hear.. SPEECHES.. i can tell you, the speeches here are by my old standards rather short.. but the one by our academic director, that sounded totally like the salesman that tries to sell those spareparts to my dad.. you get what i mean?? Yeah, i almost thought i was listening to some salesman trying to sell me something lor.. is that bad?? i don't know really.. i wasn't paying too much attention right?? i was busy jotting down ideas for you guys to read le!!!

the next speech was a lot better.. by our program director.. she's sweet.. and rather old.. but sounded real efficient lor.. and her asistant.. whoa, this one, pronounciation super perfect.. this is like my first time hearing such perfect english after a long long time lor.. she was speaking clearly, precisely, with such beautiful pronounciation and explicit details that we needed to know.. hmm, hering her speak.. really a mindblowing experince.. the next prson, the ICT guy,was not one to mess with words.. he was short and straight to the point.. no beating around that bush and really no words wasted.. only what was needed.. simple.. err, that's real good.. i'm sire jiang would've liked that very much..

then, another very convincing speaker, the counsellor.. i tell you, this guy rocks!! he none of those wimps of counsellors at my former school.. i bet he can convince a mouse to enter a cat's throat.. whew.. seriously!! well, he didn't sound local.. but he referred to the Malaysian school system as 'our sytem'.. so, i don't relaly know.. perhaps he studied overseas?? who knows?? he has a very nasal accent and a broad, deep, commanding voice.. not military though.. i was thinking another good salesman.. just that he is so good he would be totally wasted as one.. he should become a politician.. bet he would be a great one.. kakakaka..

i like my mentor.. he's funny.. anyway, about my classmates.. we are not that close yet.. still, i did see some real nice people.. like David.. yeah, if you are reading this, man, you are like hyper, dude!! hmm, you kinda just opened your mouth and err, shall i say, lifted the atmosphere by an inch?? haha.. another one is Ravin.. (guys, if i spell any of your names incorrectly, please, let me know!!! not grumble in the background, k?? ) and from the girls side, i found W (that was how she introduced herself.. don't ask my why..) who helped a lot.. her name became the moot point of our name game.. and david certainly helped in that too, by highlighting it.. hahaha.. (so, david, D??) since we are playing this 'name game', i thought that it will help a lot if my name is shorter too.. cause, no offense people, but somehow, my name leaks through their memory like a sieve.. so, i said, ok, why don't you guys just call me Zi.. (haha, sorry Cat, dear.. i did tell them my pet name.. but that's ok, only you and David-kun can call me that 'special' pet name.. k?? promise..)

then, during the game, the name somehow managed to get mixed up with W's.. they called her Zi !! so?? does that make me W?? no way!! that happened twice.. and the student facilitator had to tell that person, 'hello?? Zi is there!!!' sweet, but it sure helped to break those icicles.. hahahaha.. then, when i finished, i thanked them both, for remembering my name!! arigatou^^ (of course le.. i shortened my name for you people ady.. so don't you dare to forget.. my pretty name all chopped up!! iayada*sob sob* ) there's another interesting guy in my class.. nani wa omoshiroi?? he's an international student from Iraq!! hehe.. but i don't know him well lar..

ok, i walked in late(i'll admit that) so, of course i took the back seat lor.. there was this guy beside me.. he's really serious.. either that or just plain shy.. yes, i'm talking about you, Frank.. (but he's kinda nice.. in a really quiet way.. you know, the kind when you are looking for a moment's peace.. but kinda scary too..) well, nice that he let me sit there.. then he asked if i want to sit right in front the next time.. ( you are not just trying to kick me away are you???) i said ok.. and i asked is it alright if we sit together again next time.. and he was like 'yeah, ok.. watever!!' like that kinda unenthusiastic way.. nice huh?? he's from outstation too like me.. but he's Melaka boy le.. haha.. Frank, nothing against you.. just wishing that you at least smile or something.. you scared me today..that's all.. but hmm, if you are really like that, then i guess no problems either.. i got used to that over the years with jiang.. (right buddy??)

tonikaku(anyway), i really enjoyed meeting all of these people.. i hope i'll get to know more tomorrow.. that's the 1st day in class.. so, yoroshiku onegaishimasu.. owh, yeah, and if no one is adverse to the idea, maybe you guys will be able to see them visually next time!! cross your fingers!! its late, so ttfn..
